Parramatta Park

This park is only 15 minutes away from my place, its quite close and I usually go there to practice my photography. These photographs are the ones I took first time I went there, so I am sure you will be able to see how much more practice I need. But enjoy the images and do tell me how you find them!

Photographs from Parramatta Park

Today I went to the Parramatta Park to take photographs. It is only 20 minutes away from my house and a very beautiful place for photography. A great place to practice with my camera!

Today I got there at around 12.30PM and was exploring the bushes and river. I had previously went there with my friends Ariana and Matt 2 days ago with my camera but had accidentally left the battery charging at home so could not take any photos. Sure was a bummer! But today it was a great day with a nice cloudy weather which helped me get some great photographs!

I must say that some of these photographs are the best I have taken since I bought my camera and I am very pleased with the outcome though I still have much to learn and improve.

These photographs include lizards which I saw there at the riverbank, some were larger than 2 feet! Quite amazing to me as I have never seen such big lizards in New Zealand (I never really went to search for them when I lived there).

I also photographed Grey-headed flying foxes. There were thousands of them hanging on the trees across the river! It said these bats come here between september and april to breed, mate and give birth. A great time for me to photograph them!
